katy Sheehan
Katy has been dancing for over
16 years in multiple disciplines including jazz, tap, ballet, hip
hop, lyrical and gymnastics. While at Dance Plus+ Studio in
Edinburgh, Indiana, she participated in numerous local, state and
national dance competitions including the Indiana State Dance
Competition, Applause and Show Stoppers and won many awards for both
choreography and group and solo performances. At Indian Creek High
School in Trafalgar, Indiana, she cheered and started a competitive
dance team that she captained for two years. While earning a B.A.
in Telecommunications and a minor in Business at Indiana University,
Katy was a member of the IU Pom Squad in 1999 and 2000, competing in
the UDA National Dance Competition in Orlando, Florida. In
addition, she continued taking dance classes and choreographing for
summer workshops at local dance studios. Katy has been
participating in classes at the Mason Dance Center for the past 3
years and continues to choreograph and participate in dance
workshops in her spare time. |
